Why Custom Bird Cubbies?
 | After many years of purchasing a bird bed for my feathered babies only to find it in shreds within a few days, I decided to see if I could come up with something more permanent. I made a few cubbies, placed them in their cages and 'wow' they loved them! Cubbies provide the privacy for birds when they finally decide to go to sleep as well as a daytime playground for taking their snacks or toys and playing. Birds also love to sit on top of the cubbies and climb all over them. The GOOD thing is they can't tear up anything but the cover. AND one more good thing about the cubbies, if you bird 'messes' in your cubbie, it goes into the cover and not all over your birdie's feet. Cubbies are made of zinc free hardware cloth and attach through the wires of any cage. Your initial investment is all you have! |

Now for the fun part. My quaker and sun conure decided to become cage buddies, their choice - not mine. So in the remaining pictures you will see the game of hide and seek and squeeze into one cubbie that they play all day. They also carry toys in there so that they can drop them to the floor of the cage - sound familiar?
